SALMON One of the benefits of fishing several Washington State Rivers is that we have salmon fishing almost year round. During the Summer and Fall (August - September) we fish the Lewis River for Fall Chinook and Coho. These fish are great fighters and can reach up to 50 pounds. Just as the Lewis starts to slow down for Kings we head out to the Chehalis River System, where we fish the Chehalis, Satsop and Wynoochee Rivers October through about Thanksgiving. These rivers provide us with some of the best coho fishing in the state were 10 to 20 fish a day are not uncommon. In the Spring we head back to Southwest Washington where we will fish the Kalama and Lewis rivers for tasty Spring Chinook. Springers are great fighters whether you decide to take a full day drift boat trip on the Kalama or a Jetboat trip on the Lewis.
