Cowlitz River
The Cowlitz River in Southwest Washington is world renowned for its Steelhead fishing. Starting around Thanksgiving we will start fishing the Cowlitz for winter Steelhead and put good numbers of fish in the box into March. When summer hits we will fish the “Cow” all summer for chrome bright feisty Summer Runs. While fishing on the Cowlitz we will mostly be Freedrifting with light tackle. We fish the Cowlitz River from Blue Creek to Toledo. If you like a lot of action the Cowlitz does not dissapoint.
